Thunderbird
Thunderbird is a free, open-source e-mail client, available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
Thunderbird can handle your incoming e-mail via either the POP or IMAP methods. POP normally downloads all your incoming e-mail to your own computer and removes it from the ipHouse mail server, whereas IMAP leaves it on the server and allows you to read it remotely. IMAP allows you to read all your e-mail from anywhere you have access to an IMAP capable mail program (including Webmail), but if you leave a lot of e-mail on the server you may run out of room for new e-mail.
